The Holding Company For Water and Waste in Cairo, announced that the water will be cut off on Thursday the 8th of April 2021, from 08:00 A.M until 02:00 P.M, for a period of 6 hours.
The company stated that the water was cut off areas: “Roxy Square, Al-Marghani Street, Sayed Al-Marghani Street, Ibrahim Al-Laqani and Nazih Khalifa”, and the water pressure will decrease in the following areas: Salah El-Din Square and its branches, to carry out diversions of water pipes inconsistent with the work of the Al-Sawah Bridge, which requires the diversion of a 1000 mm diameter water line in Al-Sawah Square.
The President of the Holding Company for Water, instructed to finalize all works on the specified dates and to speed up the re-pumping of water to the affected areas upon completion of the required tasks.
The Holding Company For Water and Waste appealed to citizens in cairo, bakeries, and hospitals owners to manage their water needs during that period, to ensure the continuity of service for all customers.
The Holding Company for Water, said that it will procure mobile potable water tanks, in the affected areas, and if there are any complaints, contact the hotline (125).
